AS a regular customer at two Yorkshire Morrisons stores where the staff are friendly and helpful, I’m surprised that your columnist Tom Richmond should have such a chip on his shoulder (The Yorkshire Post, January 17).

I REFER to Jayne Dowle’s article on school sport (The Yorkshire Post, January 19). In 2012, I wrote a piece for your paper setting out the fallacy of these ridiculous claims about sporting legacies.
Anybody with half a brain could see these claims were created to line the pockets of an elite few.
Once again the public has been duped on a grand scale.
