More reasons for mixed feelings over Morrisons

I COULDN’T agree more with Tom Richmond’s opinion concerning Morrisons (The Yorkshire Post, March 8).

I, too, have suffered poor employee attitudes/training at various levels, such as being expected to rapidly get out of the way when restocking trolleys are blindly pushed toward shoppers, having to walk round groups of who appear to be managers in deep discussion, totally oblivious to shoppers trying to pass them, not to mention trying to get served when half the checkouts are not in use and long queues at those that are.

Recently I returned a hot product within moments of leaving the store because the food was desiccated, no doubt due to being kept on display too long after cooking. The form handed me to sign just said “rejected by customer”, no reason why I had to return it so no help to the hot counter personnel to improve. Yes, they need another Sir Ken and soon.

I COULD not believe the criticism of Morrisons by Tom Richmond. I shop regularly in the Morrisons’ store just outside Grimsby and I am always writing to them to thank them for having such polite, helpful and lovely staff.
