MP indulged in point-scoring

THE headline to an article by Dan Jarvis (The Yorkshire Post, October 7) caught my eye: ‘Victims’ needs at the heart of justice’. Mr Jarvis is a Member of Parliament. It is the prime function of Parliament to scrutinise laws, and make them fair and fit for purpose. The duty of an MP, in this regard, has nothing whatsoever to do with the political party he supports; yet a quarter of his article was blatant political point-scoring.

with reference to the letter by Martin Phillips (The Yorkshire Post, October 15), Sir Alan Sugar does not have enough money to get me to work for him.
