Tennis fault

THE sooner the coverage of Wimbledon is handed over to ITV, the better.

I find it outrageous that arguably the most important programme on television, the BBC news at 6pm, is relegated to BBC2 because a surly Scotsman is playing a game of tennis.

My father used to say that once he had rubbed the flour and fat together, his hands were never so clean.
