LAST year, the United Kingdom sent millions of pounds in government aid and public donations to Haiti and Parkistan following their earthquake and floods.

What financial assistance are we sending to Australia following their terrible floods and New Zealand following their two earthquakes and the mining disaster?

After all, they are our true friends.

I WENT to the doctors last month sick with a nasty migraine. He advised me to cut irritants out of my diet.

Big money rolling in

THERE has been much elation in the Holmes camp this past week. I have just been informed by the National Pensions Centre that in September, when I reach the age of 80, my basic state pension will be increased by 25 pence per week.

Hidden agenda

SINCE the ConDem coalition took control, immigration has increased. Why? That is a hidden Tory policy. It keeps wages and inflation low with more benefit claimants.
