Wildlife Photographer of the Year relevant as ever ahead of Sewerby Hall and Gardens exhibit - The Yorkshire Post says

The Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition remains as relevant as ever at a time when our focus on the animal kingdom is so coloured by environmental concerns.

Now people in Yorkshire will be able to enjoy the latest winning images when a tour heads to Sewerby Hall and Gardens in Bridlington on May 5, after an exhibition at the Natural History Museum and other locations.

Pictures of the natural world – in this exhibition there will be polar bears, bonobos and whales – always have the power to move and the educational value is there for viewers whether they are a photography expert or a casual observer.

Marie Gascoigne, general manager of Sewerby Hall and Gardens, says that last year’s exhibition was “hugely popular” so it will be yet another reason to visit the splendid clifftop attraction on the region’s beautiful coast.
