Pensioner dies in car collision
A PENSIONER has died in hospital, almost a fortnight after he was hit by a car while crossing a road in Rotherham.
The collision occurred at 9.40am on Thursday, December 29 in Green Arbour Road, Thurcroft.
The 85-year-old man was hit by a red Toyota Auris as he crossed the road and was taken to Rotherham District General Hospital, where he died on Tuesday, January 10.
Witnesses to the fatal collision should call police on 101.
