PHOTOS: Police free trapped driver from wrecked Land Rover flipped over in smash
North Yorkshire Police had to free a driver trapped in this Land Rover in a smash this morning.
The force issued these photos of the wrecked vehicle in a bid to reinforce the importance of staying alert behind the wheel.
A spokesman said: "Great teamwork from our #999Family who helped to free the trapped driver of this car and get both drivers involved in the collision to hospital for treatment this morning
"Luckily, it is not believed that either driver suffered any life threatening injuries however incidents like this remind us of the need to always remain alert when behind the wheel."
