Picasso portrait shows its face

Christies employee Giovanna Bertazzoni views a portrait by Pablo Picasso of his second wife Jacqueline, which has not been seen in public since 1967.

The work, which Picasso painted in 1963, features in the auction house's Impressionist and Modern Art and Post-War and Contemporary Art auction in London.

Christies hopes the painting will fetch 3m to 4m when it goes under the hammer on February 2.
