Poison fears on anti-freeze deaths of cats

PET owners are being urged to be vigilant after several cats died after drinking anti-freeze.

A spate of deaths in Outwood, Wakefield, could be deliberate acts of poisoning, according to vets.

Martin and Angie Wilde and their twin 12-year-old daughters have warned owners to be on their guard after their 16-month-old tom cat George died after drinking anti-freeze.

The deaths in the Outwood area, believed to involve at least six cats, followed a spate of similar incidents in the Streethouse area of Wakefield earlier this year.
