Poison milk youngface health risks
China's poisoned milk scandal has put huge numbers of children at risk of long-term health problems, a study has revealed.
More than one in 10 of the 300,000 children made ill by the milk showed signs of kidney damage six months later, researchers found. At least six children have died. Milk had been doctored with the chemical melamine to fool detectors and hide the fact it had been watered down.
