Police appeal in bid to trace suspect

DETECTIVES have issued an appeal to help trace a suspected burglar who is wanted in connection with a spate of break-ins and thefts in a Yorkshire city.

Officers from North Yorkshire Police are attempting to track down Jordan Thomas Both, 26, who is wanted for questioning over a series of offences in York and the surrounding area.

Although r Both is from York, he also has connections to Leeds and officers have appealed to people in both cities to call the police if they see him or know where he is now.

Detective Inspector Alan 
Rowan, who is based with York CID and is involved in the 
investigation, said: “We have 
carried out extensive enquiries over a number of weeks to find 
Mr Both and these searches will continue until we have found him.

“To assist our enquiries, we are now asking for anyone who believes they have seen him or know of his current whereabouts to contact us with that information.”

Anyone who has any information about the whereabouts of Both is asked to contact detectives based with York CID on North Yorkshire Police’s non-emergency number of 101.
