Police to host online consultations

People in Bradford will be able to chat to their local police officers via the internet through a series of online community meetings.

Electronic Partners and Communities Together (e-Pact) meetings will take place this month for the Queensbury, Wibsey and Royds wards of the city.

By logging onto www.westyorkshire.police.uk/epact, residents can talk to officers about any issues or concerns they have about their area. Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) Inspector Darren Brown, who will be responding to residents, said: "I am pleased with the attendance and feedback from our first meeting in September. I am now building e-Pact into our monthly timetable with morning and evening meetings.

"This will enable people from all walks of life to access their local police officers and Police Community Support Officers, giving them a say in policing priorities – all without stepping out of their front door."

The next e-Pact meeting will start at 7pm today and will be followed by another online meeting starting at 1pm on Wednesday, December 15.
