Police name suspect in club incident

Police yesterday named a man they want to speak to in connection with an incident in which a car was driven into a crowd of nightclub revellers.

Fourteen people – seven women and seven men – were taken to hospital when the stolen Saab mounted the pavement outside the Dali Bar in Rochdale early on Sunday.

It is thought two men in the vehicle had earlier been refused entry into the bar on Packer Street and returned to drive at the door staff at about 2.10am.

The car then drove along the pavement for up to 200 yards.

Detectives want to trace Lee Bradley, 26, who has links to the Rochdale and Manchester areas.

Yesterday one man was in custory and three people were still in hospital.
