Police search for man in Beverley attempted robbery probe
Police are asking for help to identify a man after an alleged attempted robbery in Beverley.
It happened at the 24-hour Sewell’s petrol station on Holme Church Lane in the East Yorkshire town at around 3.45am this morning
In an appeal, Humberside Police said it is thought the man had "some kind of weapon" but he ran off in the direction of the roundabout at the end of the southern bypass before taking anything.
He was wearing a peaked hat and was wearing dark clothing.
