Porn-company son inheritsBaron's title but nothing else

LORD Feversham has missed out on inheriting anything immediately from his late father’s 45m Yorkshire estate despite succeeding to the title.

Jasper Duncombe, who runs an adult entertainment business in London, automatically inherited the title when the sixth Baron Feversham died aged 64.

The sixth Baron, one of North Yorkshire’s most colourful personalities, was an Eton-educated journalist and author who took a keen interest in the arts.

But Gordonstoun-educated Jasper made his fortune through a company called Relishxxx, which makes blue films with titles such as To The Manor Porn.

The new Lord Feversham was conspicuously absent from his father’s memorial service in All Saints Church, Helmsley, last year when his brother Jake, 37, spoke of his father’s “respect for tradition”.

As the eldest son Jasper, 41, should have been in line to inherit the Duncombe Park estate at Helmsley. Yesterday probate records revealed that the previous Lord Feversham left a net estate of 45,927,878.

The will drawn up in 2001 left the income in a family trust fund to his second wife Polly whom he married in 1979, after the death of his first wife Shannon.

The capital of the trust fund was left to his second son Jake, 37, and daughter Melissa Rose from his first marriage, and his third son Patrick from his second marriage. He also left Jake his historic ecclesiastical titles.

Specific legacies included 1,000 each to his sister Juliet Priscilla Mary Duncombe and niece Karen Woodley.

The rest of his personal estate was left in another trust fund with a stipulation that the income be used for the benefit of his wife, children and other descendants.

Jasper has reportedly married photographer Candida Boddington since his father’s death and the couple have a son Orlando Balthazar.

The terms of the will suggest that his trustees could choose to give income from the trust to Jasper or his son at a later date.
