Port stages second seafood festival

Following the success of the inaugural Bridlington Seafood Festival last year, the Bridlington Harbour Commissioners, in partnership with Bridlington Renaissance, are staging the second festival over the weekend of August 21 and 22.

The event will be held at Bridlington Harbour from 10am to 4pm on both days and feature a range of exhibits and activities.

The latest plans for the proposed Bridlington Marina will be on display, with the Harbour Commissioners and Renaissance staff on hand to answer questions.

Also on display will be historic photographs of Bridlington Harbour, and visitors can have a look around historic boats.

New activities this year include a treasure hunt and quiz for children.
