Praise for trio who disarmed knifeman
A police community support officer and two members of the public showed "immense bravery" in disarming a man carrying a large knife near Leeds bus station, police said.
Nick Hammill was on patrol at around 11am on Thursday when he and two passers-by disarmed the man, who has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon and affray.
