Print companies bring together 58 years of experience in merger

Harrogate Printing and Platinum Print have merged bringing together the skills and expertise of the two firms.

David Wyvill, from Platinum Print, said: “Our companies have excellent reputations for providing quality print and, by bringing together over 58 years of experience, we will now have a much broader range of products to offer our existing and future clients.”

The combined business will be based at Platinum Print’s existing premises on Hookstone Park, which have been extended to 24,000 sq ft to accommodate the additional printing, finishing and collating machinery.

All employees from both business will be retained resulting in more than 50 staff operating from the premises.

Colin Wilding, from Harrogate Printing, said: “The consolidation of all our equipment, staff and skills will take the company into the future as one of the foremost providers of quality print in the North of England.

“It is a very positive and exciting move.”
