£46m lottery winner to stay anonymous

A LOTTERY WINNER has claimed the £46.4m EuroMillions jackpot but chosen to remain anonymous, Camelot said.

Just one ticket matched all seven numbers on Friday to take the prize of £46,432,285.20, placing them in sixth place in the National Lottery Rich List.

The cash was paid out just weeks after Cassey Carrington and Matt Topham, from Stapleford, Nottingham, landed £45m and Gareth and Catherine Bull, from Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, scooped £40m.

A National Lottery spokesman said: “This fantastic win has maintained the UK’s amazing run of luck in banking big EuroMillions jackpots.”
