Pudding rush at Bettys

Christmas puddings are proving a hit at Bettys. Justin Clapham and Julie Adams, from Bettys Craft Bakery, in Harrogate, are pictured finishing off decorating Christmas puddings ready for despatch.

It may only be November but puddings
from Bettys are already proving popular – at the last count almost twice as many
have been sold as the same time last
year.

Hazel Bone, branch manager of Bettys Harrogate, said yesterday: “Our Christmas puddings are winning compliments all over the country this year and at Bettys Harrogate demand has far exceeded last year.”

Puddings are made in a time-honoured
way in the Bettys Craft Bakery,
Harrogate, and matured for several
months.
