Queen '“ A Night in Scarborough
The screening of the concert is one of the films and streaming events at the Stephen Joseph Theatre’s McCarthy cinema in Scarborough this spring and summer.
It is part of a programme which will also offer the chance to watch some of the UK’s top theatre companies, including the Royal Opera House cast and that of the National Theatre.

Hide AdFilmed live on Christmas Eve 1975 at the Hammersmith Odeon in London, the latest addition to the theatre’s film programme is Queen – A Night in Bohemia.
The famous concert footage filmed at the Hammersmith Odeon shows the band performing hits including Killer Queen and of course Bohemian Rhapsody. It will be shown on Wednesday, May 4, at 7.45pm.
Video streaming will see shows from some of the UK’s top theatre companies sent live from the venue of the performance to cinema screens, although occasionally recordings are used instead.
The season in Scarborough will include encore streamings of A View from the Bridge and The Audience.

Hide AdIvo Van Hove’s production of Arthur Miller’s A View from the Bridge, starring Mark Strong and Nicola Walker, will also return to the McCarthy cinema for a screening on Thursday, May 12.
Audiences have the chance to watch Helen Mirren as the Queen in The Audience on Thursday June 9.
