Queue-jumping claim reviewed

A COUNCIL is carrying out a new inquiry into claims a senior employee jumped the queue to secure a sought-after council house.

Lee Turnbull, customer service centre manager at Hull Council, is understood to have been given a three-bedroom, semi-detached property weeks after registering as homeless.

On Monday, the council said an internal inquiry had found the decision was in accordance with its policies and procedures but last night it said the case was being reviewed again.
