Residents evacuated as gas cylinders explode during blaze at North Yorkshire garage
Five fire engines and an aerial platform ladder were called to deal with the blaze at the garage on Ingleton Industrial Estate, New Road, Ingleton, just before 6.30pm tonight.
A North Yorkshire Fire Service spokesman said: "Firefighters were originally fighting the fire inside the building but all the crews were withdrawn from inside the premises due to acetylene cylinders exploding.

Hide AdA North Yorkshire Police spokesman, said: "The incident, which has occurred at a MOT test centre at around 6.40pm today (Friday 10 March 2017), has led to the evacuation of properties within a 200m safety cordon in the south of the village. The residents have been taken to the local community centre and are being supported by the county council."
