Louise Woollard, of Louise Woollard Financial, said: “It was rewarding to see many commercial partners alongside other businesses and individuals, all of whom had a very keen interest in the outcome of the recent announcements made in the Budget.

“It was interesting to hear Greg’s views on the strength of the regional economy, its resilience and its ability to innovate and inspire. My experience is that local businesses are quick to adapt and spot opportunities in ever changing markets, and my responsibility is to develop a financial plan that can meet these changing needs.”

Sean Jarvis, the commercial director of Huddersfield Town said: “Forging ties with the business community through vehicles like this are very important to us. It allows them to meet and share best practice with each other and gives them new ideas to move their own businesses forward.”
