Road decision delayed by spending review
The campaign to upgrade the A64 between York and Scarborough with 35-miles of dual carriageway was raised in the House of Commons.
The MP for Thirsk and Malton, Anne McIntosh, tabled a question during the Department for Transport's question time to establish the Government's plans for the long-awaited scheme.

Hide AdWhile Transport Minister Mike Penning refused to make any firm commitment to the upgrade before the autumn spending review, he confirmed he will "look at measures as they are presented".
Miss McIntosh said seaside regeneration was being threatened by poor transport links.
