Audiences will also be treated to musical performances from the circus’ own live orchestra during the two-hour show.

Netherlands National Circus will perform at the site on Woodhouse Lane from Sunday, March 1, to Thursday, March 11.

A circus spokesman said: “It’s marvellous to be on tour here with such a special show.”

The shows include circus acts from across the world.

From Australia there are the Flying Aces and springboard acrobats the Cretzu Troupe are from Romania.
