Rugby club physio may get Olympic role

A RUGBY club physiotherapist is to open a second practice in East Yorkshire while waiting to find out if she has been appointed as an official physiotherapist to the Olympic and Paralympic Games in London this summer.

Lisa Wiles, head physio at Pocklington RUFC, will open a second Hands that Heal clinic in South Cave on Sunday.

She said: “I don’t know which I’m more excited about - the new clinic or the Olympics. The Olympic opportunity has come about because of the volunteer work that I have done as a team physio with the Great Britain Women’s Wheelchair Basketball Team – I have travelled the world with them over the last few years.”
