Sad mission for family after tragedy

The family of a Polish woman whose body was found by police in a Bradford flat have arrived in Britain.

The body of Karolina Wasilewski, 28, was discovered wrapped in plastic bags under a bed, after the body of her 33-year-old boyfriend, Bartlomiej Jakub Bozek, was found hanging in the flat in Manningham.

Ms Wasilewski's brother and sister are now helping police with the investigation.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "They are understandably distraught over what has happened and are grieving the loss of their sister. They had a close relationship with her and they are now supporting and assisting both the police and the coroner."

Police are continuing to investigate the cause of Ms Wasilewski's death. Officers are not seeking anyone else in connection with the deaths, but want to trace anyone who may have seen either of the pair in the days leading up to the discovery of their bodies.

Officers were called to the flat in Hallfield Road, where Ms Wasilewski was the tenant, shortly before 9pm on January 17. Mr Bozek's body was found hanging inside the entrance and police found Ms Wasilewski's body when they searched the property.
