Scooter passenger injured in crash
A scooter passenger suffered serious neck and pelvic injuries after it hit a parked car in Sheffield.
The collision happened in Bellhouse Road, Firth Park, at about 7.20pm on Wednesday evening and involved a Piaggio scooter. The pillion passenger, aged 27, from Shirecliffe, was injured and detained at the Northern General Hospital. The rider, 25, was unhurt but was arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
