Scupture park to showcase internationally-renowned talent

ANIMAL sculptures by an internationally-renowned artist from Yorkshire will be on show for the first when one of the region’s famous gardens opens for its new season this month.

The award-wining 20-acre Himalayan Garden and Sculpture Park at Grewelthorpe, near Ripon, will feature 75 works of art on display when this year’s season starts on April 28.

The work of Sally Arnup, the York–based artist who has achieved global acclaim for her bronze animal sculptures, will be among the art on show. Her work has been displayed across the UK as well as in Paris, New York and Florence as well as Norway and Bermuda. The gardens, which attract about 10,000 visitors annually, lay claim to having the North’s largest collection of rhododendrons, azaleas and magnolias.
