Sea stops play for Yorkshire quartet

Yorkshire cricketers, including captain Andrew Gale, Jonathan Bairstow, Moin Ashraf and Oliver Hannon-Dalby took time out from the Scarborough cricket festival this week to join RNLI coxswain Tom Clark, right, and second coxswain Jason Dobson in one of their weekly training sessions.

After seeing the lifeboat volunteers in action first hand, they paid tribute to the RNLI and its work.

The four took to the waters from the Lifeboat Station on the West Pier after leaving the pitch on Tuesday. The RNLI has 40 volunteers at its Scarborough base.
