Search for litter of pups stolen in raid

POLICE are on the hunt for the South Yorkshire dog-nappers who stole a litter of puppies.

The mission to return the seven six-week-old Poochons – poodle and Bichon Frisé crosses – to their owners was launched after the pets were stolen from a house in Cusworth, Doncaster on Wednesday.

Three black female puppies, one black male, one brown female and two caramel coloured males had been left with their mother when thieves broke in.

A spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police said: “Forced entry was gained into the property and all seven were stolen from their pen.

“It is not believed anything else was taken.”

Anyone with information, or who is offered one of the Poochon pups for sale is urged to contact police on 101.
