Search for man who went to aid of sex attack victim in York
The incident took place in the early hours of Sunday, August 5, at the Holiday Inn on Tadcaster Road in the city.
North Yorkshire Police say the man, who is thought to have been a guest at the hotel, found the 32-year-old victim following the attack and provided reassurance until further help arrived.

Hide AdOfficers are stressing that he is not a suspect in the case but may have “important information” that could assist their investigation.
A CCTV image has been issued of the man, who on the night in question was wearing blue jeans, a light-coloured short-sleeved shirt and dark-rimmed glasses.
