A silver Honda Civic was travelling towards Grenoside on the A61 Halifax Road when it was in collision with a silver Nissan Micra entering Halifax Road from Lyminster Road at around 7.40pm on Saturday.

June Bryce-Stephen, 56, the Micra driver, from Sheffield, died after sustaining fatal injuries in the collision.

It is believed the Honda Civic, driven by the 22-year-old man was in close proximity to the orange Ford Focus ST travelling in the same direction, away from Hillsborough.
