Serving up a taste of Yorkshire
Leeds City Centre and Markets head Cath Follin and Principal of Leeds City College Peter Roberts have launched the Leeds Loves Food Festival, the city’s annual food extravaganza, with a promise it will be bigger and better than ever.
The event backed by the Yorkshire Post, returns for three days between May 25 and 27 and promises food sampling and cooking demonstrations across a number of sites, including Leeds Kirkgate Market, Leeds Corn Exchange, Victoria Quarter, The Light, St John’s Centre, Merrion Centre and Millennium Square.
Award-winning Yorkshire chef Brian Turner is among those appearing.
