Shopping centre to mark 20th anniversary
Meadowhall shopping centre in Sheffield is set to mark its 20th birthday on Saturday September 4 with a programme of entertainment including performances from X Factor finalists Lloyd Daniels and Jamie Archer.
A sculptor will also create a piece of art to mark the occasion– the 7,000th time Meadowhall has opened its doors since that first day in 1990. Other attractions will include games, stilt walkers, face painters and free birthday cake.
