Shots fired at city property

South Yorkshire Police said shots were fired at a property in City Road early yesterday, although nobody was hurt.

A spokeswoman for the force said: “South Yorkshire Police are investigating a report of a shooting at a building on City Road, Sheffield, which happened at about 2.30am this morning, Sunday, 26 May.

“Nobody was injured and a forensic examination of the scene has taken place.

“The incident is believed to be a targeted attack.”

Detectives are investigating and officers are patrolling the area to provide reassurance to the public, she added.
