Singer Pink falls off stage as high-wire stunt goes wrong (VIDEO)

THE pop star Pink was rushed to hospital last night after a stage stunt during her show in Nuremberg, Germany, went wrong.

The 30-year-old American singer, real namem Alecia Beth Moore, is famous for her acrobatic stage routines.

The music stopped when she fell out of a harness above the stage during a choreographed sequence in her Funhouse tour.

After a pause, whe returned to the stage for a bow and was then taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance.

she later wrote on the social networking site Twitter: "To all my Nurnberg fans - I am so so so sorry to end the show that way.I am embarassed and very sorry. I'm in ambulance now but I will b fine."

She said the accident had happened because she hadn't been secured in her harness correctly, tweeting: "Didn't get clipped in2 harness correctly, drug me off stage, fell in2 barricade. Getting xrays.I hope it at least looked cool!!!"
