Sir Jimmy hopes for lottery ‘fix-it’

Sir Jimmy Savile is trying to ‘fix it’ for someone to win a EuroMillions fortune from an unclaimed ticket.

The Leeds-born broadcaster was in Millennium Square, in Leeds city centre, sitting in a giant Lottery-braded sofa – not unlike the huge seat he used in his show Jim’ll Fix It. The Christmas Eve Millionaire Raffle created 25 millionaires, smashing the world record for the most millionaires created in one draw.

Twenty four of the prizes have now been claimed, however one Leeds resident is the last to come forward and collect their winnings. The ticket holder has until 5.30pm on Wednesday, June 22, to make their claim.

Players are being urged to check purses and down the backs of sofas.
