Six-year-old gets arm stuck in machine

A six-year-old boy had to be freed by firefighters after his arm became caught in a toy vending machine.

The incident happened at the Tesco store in Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire at about 7.30pm yesterday.

Fire crews were able to release the boy’s arm by dismantling part of the machine. A spokesman said he suffered slight bruising but was otherwise unhurt.
