Smash-and-grab ordeal for motorist

A woman was left shaken after robbers smashed her car window as she tried to get out of the vehicle.

The 42-year-old victim parked her red Fiat Seicento outside the Cottage Cafe, on Great Horton Road, Bradford, at 6.40am last Friday.

But as she tried to get out of the vehicle she was approached by two men – one of whom held her door shut while the second smashed the front passenger window and stole her handbag. Both men fled along Great Horton Road.
