Sound as a Belle
After surgery to cure deformed legs that made her walk like a spider, seven-month-old puppy Belle is now back to full health and looking for a new home.
The greyhound cross, is being cared for at a rescue home in Doncaster. She was born bow-legged and has been in pain while campaigners raised money to pay for the surgery.
Manager and founder of the Mayflower Sanctuary Jennie Foxall-Lord started fundraising three months ago to raise the 3,000 required for Belle's surgery.
She said: "When she walked before it was like a little spider. Now she's so much more positive and happy. She is a lovely-natured dog."
