Souvenir journeyover new rail bridge

The first passenger services will run later this month across a £650,000 replacement bridge installed on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.

A wrought iron bridge dating from the 19th century was removed from Darnholme, between Grosmont and Goathland, in January and the first train service is due to operate over the replacement on March 27. Passengers on the first train over the bridge will be given a souvenir certificate.
