Spa visit for Antiques Roadshow
Thousands of collectors are set to flock to Scarborough’s historic Spa after the BBC revealed the Antiques Roadshow will be filming at the Victorian building.
Some of Britain’s leading antiques and fine arts specialists will be on hand to offer free advice and valuations to visitors, who are invited to raid their attics and bring along their family heirlooms, household treasures and car boot bargains for inspection by the experts.
Filming, for the popular show, which will be presented by Fiona Bruce, will take place in Scarborough on May 3, with doors opening at 9.30am.
