Stable mates: Training grounds open doors
It was a question of who was waiting to meet whom when a North Yorkshire town’s training yards threw open their doors.
Visitors were invited to meet some of the best racehorses in the north of England at the annual Middleham Stables Open Day event yesterday. But it looked more like some of the horses had been waiting to meet the public as La Pantera Rosa got acquainted with three-year-old Caitlin Howard, from Middleham, at Micky Hammond’s stables.
