Hide AdGurpareet recently took the title of chef of the year at the English Curry Awards 2011 and Vineet, is the first Michelin-starred Indian chef in Britain.
The pair join other previously-confirmed guests such as Huddersfield-based Caribbean food expert Barrington Douglas and Hemant Oberoi.
Last year’s festival was organised to mark the 200th anniversary of curry’s arrival in Britain. Sake Dean Mahomed began selling Indian-style dishes from his Hindoostane Coffee House in London in 1810.
This year’s event will boast a restaurant and dozens of stalls and exhibitions as well as a 100-seater cooking theatre which will host demonstrations.
