Street star drops in
it was a day of celebration when Coronation Street star Paula Lane joined residents at Mirfield’s Hollybank Trust to mark the opening of its £3m eco-friendly residential development.
The completion of The Meadows will enable the trust, which works with children and adults with complex disabilities, to offer specially designed accommodation for young adults and children as well as facilities for respite care.
Lane, who plays Kylie Platt, joined resident Gemma Toft in the landscaped grounds, which will incorporate four themed sensory gardens.
