Strictly star dances on air with his new bride

Strictly Come Dancing star Brendan Cole has waltzed up the aisle with sweetheart Zoe Hobbs.

The dancer, who rose to fame as one of the professionals from the BBC TV dance show, swept his partner off her feet for a ceremony in front of celebrity friends.

The couple posed for wedding photos with stars such as Strictly host Forsyth and fellow professional dancer Anton Du Beke.

And Cole, who could not hold back the tears as his bride came down the aisle in a Peter Langner gown, told reporters: "She takes my breath away."

New Zealand-born dancer Cole, 34, met the 29-year-old model at a birthday party.

The ballroom star recalled: "She walked across, said hello and I nearly fell over. I literally stopped in my tracks."

Also posing with the couple in the grounds of Nether Winchendon House in Buckinghamshire were Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood, dancer Erin Boag and Jo Wood, one of Cole's dancing partners in the BBC1 show.

Wood said: "I've never seen Brendan as a bad boy, I've just seen him as lovely Brendan."

Hobbs said: "We had the most perfect wedding day either of us could have wished for."
