Strictly star to deny driving charge
Strictly Come Dancing star Ricky Whittle will face trial for dangerous driving next month.
The former Hollyoaks actor has indicated he will deny the allegation at Liverpool Crown Court on April 21.
Yesterday, in a one-minute magistrates’ hearing, Whittle, 30, of Billinge, near Wigan, spoke only to confirm his name, address and date of birth.
He is accused of deliberately driving at a photographer after a party on November 27 2009.
